For over two decades, the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation (NaEPF) has been dedicated to human rights, environmental conservation, animal and social welfare, and cultural heritage. With a global reach, the Foundation has funded over 1,300 projects in more than 80 countries, investing more than €88 million to drive meaningful and lasting change.

Project Selection Criteria
To ensure alignment with our mission and values, the Foundation prioritises projects that demonstrate:
- Strategic relevance – Clear alignment with NaEPF’s focus areas
- Long-term impact – Sustainable benefits beyond the funding period
- Innovative approach – Novel solutions to pressing challenges
- Operational feasibility – Sound financial and organisational structure
Due to the high number of applications, priority is given to projects that clearly outline their expected impact and sustainability strategies.
Application Process

2. Complete the application form (Your progress will be saved automatically, allowing you to return at any time)
3. Submit your application (no further edits can be made after submission)
4. Receive confirmation and await review
Upon submission, you will receive an automated confirmation email with a PDF copy of your application.
Grant Decision Cycles
The Board of Directors reviews applications 4 times per year. All applicants will be notified of the decision within three months of submission.
Decision periods:
- End of March
- End of June
- End of September
- End of November
Post-Approval Process
For successful applicants, the funding process includes:
- Formal agreement – Upon selection, grantees will receive an agreement outlining the grant’s terms and conditions.
- Monitoring and reporting – Recipients are required to submit periodic reports to ensure transparency and assess the project’s progress.
- Project visibility – In some cases, the Foundation may collaborate on communication efforts to highlight key achievements.
